The night is run as a Social Event with the best quality music selected from an extensive list of the latest music tracks & blended with old school classics - giving you the best mixture of past time hits with the latest music songs/remixes that is out there in the world today.

About Mark Synnot AKA DJ Dtrain:
I have been learning, various dancing styles in latin, brazilian, ballroom & afro dancing for the past 12 years, I have also been Djing for the past 6 years.
It all began in late Aug of 2009. A week before my 25th Birthday. I wanted to impress my high school crush by taking up salsa dancing. I signed up for Salsa Beginners class at a local dance studio. That very weekend I arrived at a major Latin dance social on my 25th Birthday hoping to impress her. She didn't show up. But I did get that dance with her a few months later.
I had such an amazing time at this major Latin dance social that I still continue to dance Salsa to this day.
After my birthday I then continued my dancing journey by learning Bachata, Zouk, Waltz, Merengue, Cha cha, & Tango.
I have mainly studied different styles of dancing from the following dance schools & Festivals: Dancelinx, Latin Dance Adelaide, Latino Grooves, Dance Adelaide. Latin Dance Australia, Dance I.M, Adelaide Latin Festival in 2010 & 2012, Melbourne Latin Festival in 2010 & 2011, Doudoule Latin Dance Camp 2010 & 2011, Sydney international Bachata Festival 2010 & 2011, Sydney Latin Festival 2015 & Canberra Latin Festival 2016.
After years of learning dance & listening to & obtaining lots of social music, I decided it was time to give back to the dance community. In March 2015, I began running monthly social dance nights at Mitcham Cultural Village, Mitcham, SA, Australia.
From 2015 - 2016, I did the DJing for Gerry Ekserdjian providing social music for his dance studio, Kizomba Dancers Adelaide, as well as after class social dancing & other functions.
In 2017 I successful ran weekly social dance nights with the studio Dance Adelaide for 3 months.
I then headed interstate to re-engage with the wider Australian dancing community.
In Late 2017 til Early 2018 I run Zouk socials & Kiz-Chata Socials in Melbourne & Adelaide.
Over the years I have run successful dance social events across Australia in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane & Perth.
Currently I am running social events at Unley RSL in Adelaide. You can learn more about these events at the Events page.
A future goal is to run events across every city in Australia.
